Every petal has its own natural shape, colour, and texture, making each collection unique.

Use them to create:
- Handmade greeting cards

Dried Flower Petals for Soap Making
Dried petals are popular among handmade soap makers who want to add a natural botanical element to their creations.
Rose, calendula, marigold, and other flower petals can be incorporated into handmade soap designs for decorative purposes.
You can scatter petals across the surface or create your own botanical arrangement depending on the soap-making method you use.
Important: Not every dried flower product is intended for cosmetic or skin use. Always check the intended use and product information before using any botanical material on skin.
Dried Flower Petals for Potpourri
Create your own natural potpourri by combining dried petals with dried flowers, herbs, spices, and suitable fragrance ingredients.
A simple mixture can add colour and botanical texture to bowls, trays, or decorative containers around your home.
For a more personalised blend, experiment with different flower colours, herbs, and fragrances.

Add a small handful of petals to:
- Gift boxes
- Handmade packaging
- Greeting cards
- Gift baskets
- Wedding favours

Dried Flower Petals for Weddings & Events
Natural petals can be used to add colour and texture to celebrations.
They can be incorporated into:
- Wedding tables
- Invitation styling
- Gift packaging
- Wedding favours
- Photography props
- Decorative displays
- Natural confetti
For events where petals will come into contact with food, skin, or the environment, make sure you select a product specifically intended and labelled for that purpose.
Dried Flower Petals for Resin Art
Small dried petals can also be used in creative resin projects.
Depending on the size and shape of the petals, you can use them to create:
- Resin jewellery
- Bookmarks
- Coasters
- Trays
- Decorative pieces
- Botanical artwork
For resin projects, always make sure the botanical material is completely dry before embedding it.
If resin art is your main interest, explore our Dried Pressed Flowers for Resin Art collection for flatter botanical pieces that are particularly useful for resin work.
Dried Flower Petals for Candle & Wax Projects
Dried petals can also be used as decorative botanical elements in suitable candle and wax projects.
However, dried flowers are combustible, so they should not automatically be placed near a candle flame or embedded in a way that creates a fire hazard.
For candle making, always follow the safety recommendations of your wax, wick, fragrance, and candle-material suppliers.
A Natural Alternative for Creative Living
One of the beautiful things about dried flower petals is their versatility.
A flower that once bloomed on a farm can eventually become part of a handmade card, a gift, a botanical artwork, or a decorative creation.
Instead of using artificial decorative materials, dried petals allow you to work with real botanical elements and preserve a small reminder of nature.
The BloomyBliss Dried Flower Journey
Our dried flower journey began with an unexpected challenge.
When we started developing BloomyBliss Farm, we experimented with different flowers to understand what could successfully grow in our land.
After researching, planting, testing, and learning from different crops, we finally had our first flower harvest.
Then COVID arrived.
Our fresh harvest could not be used and sold in the way we had originally planned. Rather than letting the flowers go to waste, we started experimenting with drying and preserving them.
That small experiment became the beginning of the BloomyBliss dried flower journey.
Over time, we discovered that dried flowers could have many lives beyond decoration—from bouquets and home décor to crafts, resin art, gifting, and flower petals.
Today, dried flowers remain an important part of our connection between farm, nature, creativity, and everyday life.
How to Store Dried Flower Petals
Proper storage helps protect dried petals from moisture, dust, and unnecessary colour loss.
- Store them in a cool, dry place.
- Keep them away from direct sunlight.
- Protect them from humidity and water.
- Use an airtight or well-sealed container for long-term storage when appropriate.
- Handle delicate petals gently.
- Keep them away from areas where they may become damp.
Natural dried petals can gradually change colour over time. This is a normal characteristic of botanical materials.
Are BloomyBliss Dried Flower Petals 100% Natural?
Our dried flower products are made from real botanical materials rather than artificial plastic flowers.
However, “natural,” “organic,” “food-grade,” and “cosmetic-grade” are not interchangeable terms. The suitability of a particular product depends on how that specific batch has been grown, processed, handled, and labelled.
Always check the individual product description before using dried petals for food, skincare, or other specialised applications.
