Helichrysum or strawflower are 36-40 inch tall plants that have 5-inch long-lance-sloped leaves and double blooms over 2 1/2 inches across. 

  1. Flowers of these species are appreciable as cut flowers and when they are dried, the papery will last indefinately.
  2. These plants are easy to grow from flower seeds and excellent container plants.
  3. Requires soil temperature of up to 10-35 degree celcius.
  4. Seeds take about 7-10 days to germinate and then small shoots will appear.
  5. It requires full sunlight and dry conditions so water it once or twice per week.
  6. From the second week, the seeds will grow in the form of a small helichrysum mixed flower.

Helichrysum is an extremely beautiful and bewildering plant.
