BloomyBliss Farm Journal – December 2025 | Harvesting & Storing Natural Ingredients

BloomyBliss Farm Journal – December 2025

A Month of Harvesting, Gratitude & Storing Nature’s Gifts for the Year Ahead

December 2025 arrived at BloomyBliss Farm with a deep sense of fulfillment. The pace of the farm slowed gently, not from lack of work, but from the satisfaction of a year well nurtured. This month was not about new blooms — it was about harvesting, drying, storing, and honouring the abundance that will support our products throughout the coming year.

December is when the farm feels like a living storehouse of blessings — every harvest carrying the effort, patience, and love poured into the soil over many months.

Gomphrena: Harvested for Year‑Round Beauty

December marked the full harvest of gomphrena flowers, carefully collected at their best stage. Known for their excellent drying quality and long-lasting colour, gomphrena is one of our most precious flowers for year‑round use.

Shades harvested included vibrant pinks, magentas, whites, reds, and soft earthy tones. Once dried and stored, these flowers become a vital part of our floral infusions, botanical décor, and handcrafted BloomyBliss creations.

Marigolds: Golden Harvest of Healing

Our marigold harvest continued strongly into December. These golden flowers were harvested, dried, and stored with great care to preserve their colour, aroma, and therapeutic properties.

Marigolds remain one of the backbone flowers for BloomyBliss — deeply connected to our face packs, soaps, and seasonal rituals. December’s harvest ensures that their healing energy stays with us all year long.

Chrysanthemums: Completing the Bloom Cycle

December also marked the final major harvest of chrysanthemums. After reaching their peak in November, these flowers were lovingly collected and prepared for storage.

White, yellow, maroon, and soft pink chrysanthemums completed their bloom cycle gracefully, leaving behind not emptiness, but readiness — making space for the next season while continuing to serve through our products and formulations.

Basil: The Year’s Main Herbal Harvest

One of the most important highlights of December was the full harvesting of basil, our primary herbal crop. The plants were cut, dried, and stored at the right stage to retain their aroma, potency, and healing qualities.

Basil harvested this month will support our soaps, face packs, herbal blends, and wellness products throughout the year. This harvest represents months of continuous care and mindful timing.

Baby Plants & New Beginnings

Alongside harvesting and storage, December also marked the beginning of a new life cycle at BloomyBliss Farm. This month, we lovingly started our baby plants, nurturing young seedlings that will soon be transplanted into newly prepared beds.

These tender plants are the future of the farm — cared for with gentle watering, balanced sunlight, and mindful attention. Preparing new beds and raising baby plants side by side with harvesting reminded us that farming is always a dance between endings and beginnings.

Every seedling carries hope, patience, and the promise of blooms yet to come.

A Month of Drying, Storing & Preservation

December at BloomyBliss Farm is as much about post-harvest care as it is about harvesting itself. Flowers and herbs were:

  • Shade-dried naturally

  • Stored in clean, breathable conditions

  • Protected to retain colour, fragrance, and energy

This slow and respectful process ensures that the essence of the farm remains alive in every BloomyBliss product — even months after the flowers leave the soil.

December Reflections

December 2025 was a month of quiet pride and deep gratitude.

  • Gomphrena taught us longevity and resilience

  • Marigolds reminded us of warmth and healing

  • Chrysanthemums showed us graceful completion

  • Basil represented nourishment and continuity

The farm rested, not in stillness, but in readiness — holding within it everything needed to create natural, farm-made products for the year ahead.

As the year closes, BloomyBliss Farm stands full — of harvests, lessons, and faith in nature’s cycles. We move forward carrying this abundance into every product we create, staying true to our promise of purity, patience, and purpose.
