A Month of Colours, Calmness & Abundance from Nature
October at BloomyBliss Farm always feels like nature’s own festival — a celebration of colours, fragrances, and gentle shifts in the wind. This month, the farm bloomed with extraordinary beauty and abundance. From marigolds glowing like tiny suns to the calming aroma of lemongrass carried by the breeze, October 2025 has been a heartful reminder of why we chose this life — to grow, to nurture, and to live in harmony with the Earth.
Marigolds: The Soul of October
This October, marigolds took center stage with their joyful colours.
We harvested an incredible range:
Bright sunshine yellow
Deep traditional orange
French maroon
French yellow
Frilled yellow
Each variety added character to the farm. Walking through the marigold patch felt like walking through warmth itself — a golden river swaying with every gust of wind. These blossoms continue to inspire our face packs, candles, and farm rituals, reminding us that simple flowers can hold immense power.
Blue Pea (Aparajita): The Flower of Strength
Blue Pea flowers bloomed gracefully this month in shades of royal blue, white and soft violet. These blossoms symbolize victory and calm, and they continue to inspire our herbal teas, oils, and floral rituals. Their presence adds a touch of serenity to the garden.
Celosia: Flames of Colour in the Fields
Celosia has always been the most dramatic member of our flower family, and this month it truly performed. We had:
Purple
Pink
White
Wheat celosia
Plumed celosia
Cockscomb varieties
Their velvety textures and flame-shaped blooms looked like nature painting with fire. Celosias filled the farm with bold colour — a contrast to the softness of October skies.
Gomphrena: Little Globes of Happiness
The Gomphrena beds offered cheerful pops of colour all month long.
We harvested:
Magenta
Pink
White
Red
Orange
Carmine
These globe-shaped flowers stayed fresh even under the sun, and their beauty continues to make our infused face oils magical. They are tiny, but their presence is mighty.
Basil: The Scent That Heals
Our basil patch thrived in October. Every morning, the farm filled with its sweet, herbal aroma. Harvesting basil always feels soothing — almost like therapy. It goes into our soaps, face packs, and teas, carrying BloomyBliss’s healing energy to everyone who uses it.
Phalaris: The Graceful, Feathered Beauty
A new highlight of October has been the soft, ornamental Phalaris grass.
With its delicate, feather-like heads in:
White
- Pink and White
Phalaris brought a gentle, elegant texture to the farm. These grasses sway beautifully with the breeze and are perfect for dried floral arrangements, bouquets, crafts, and our botanical décor projects. Their presence added a subtle, earthy charm to the October landscape — a quiet beauty that never demands attention but always enhances it.
Night Jasmine (Parijat): The Soulful Fragrance of Dawn
Parijat, the mystical night-blooming flower, spread its divine scent across the farm. Every early morning, the ground beneath the Parijat tree looked like a white, fragrant blanket of blessings. These flowers remind us that beauty doesn’t always need daylight — some blossoms glow in silence, under the moon.
Moong Dal & Lobia Dal: Nourishment from Our Soil
October also marked a nourishing harvest of:
These pulses are small but powerful reminders of the farm’s diversity. As we cleaned, dried, and stored them, it felt like storing the hard work of months, sealed with gratitude.
Lemongrass: Our Evergreen Companion
If there is one plant that never rests at BloomyBliss Farm, it’s lemongrass.
Every month, and especially this October, it stood tall, fragrant, and evergreen. Its calming aroma traveled with the wind, its leaves swayed like rhythmic dancers, and its energy uplifted every corner of the farm. We used it for our face mists, candles, and herbal blends — truly a blessing that keeps giving.
Cotton Flowers: Softness in Bloom
Cotton flowers opened beautifully this month, soft and creamy like tiny clouds resting on branches. These blooms are a reminder of purity and new beginnings — symbols of comfort growing quietly on the land.
Hibiscus: The Queen of Beauty Flowers
Hibiscus flowers, in their deep reds and pinks, were abundant in October.
Their petals are the heart of our popular:
Hibiscus soap
Hair conditioner bars
Face packs
Herbal infusions
They are lush, vibrant, and filled with skin-loving nutrients — a true treasure from BloomyBliss Farm.
Bananas: A Sweet, Generous Harvest
One of the happiest parts of October was our lot of banana harvest! Big clusters hung proudly from banana trees, signaling sweetness and abundance. Harvesting bananas as a family is always joyful — laughter, balancing ladders, and sharing the first taste straight from the tree.
October Reflections
As October ends, BloomyBliss Farm feels fuller, calmer, and more colourful than ever. Each flower and crop brought its own story, its own energy, and its own contribution to the magical world we’re building — one rooted deeply in nature.
The farm is not just land; it’s a journal of seasons, emotions, blessings, and purpose.
And this October, it wrote one of its most beautiful chapters.
