All you need to know about Candles

Candles are the light source which is now mostly used for decorative and ceremonial purposes, consists of wax, lac, or other similar slow-burning material and a fibrous wink inside which makes it burn for a long time, commonly in cylindrical form but made in many fanciful designs nowadays. Although it is one of the oldest light sources, candles did not change much throughout their history. It is basically a pile of wax or some other fuel through which is embedded wick which, when lit, produces light. Candles are used for illumination and sometimes for heating. Candle-making was developed independently in many places throughout history.

Dipped candles made from tallows were made by the Romans beginning about 500 BC. Candles were made from whale fat in China dating back to the Qin Dynasty (221–206 BC). In India, wax from boiling cinnamon was used for temple candles. Candles were primarily made from tallow and animal fats in ancient times, but have been made from plants, and paraffin wax in recent centuries.

Despite being on the smaller scale of the accessories spectrum, there’s more to consider than you’d first think when it comes to choosing the perfect candles. Scented candles are in constant use to help in setting up the atmosphere and improve the ambiance in any situation. The key is to choose the correct scent to match a person’s emotions or sense you wish to evoke. When it comes to scented candles there are many ways to get the most out of the aroma, but one of the most popular ways is by dispersing it into the air directly by burning them. Scented candles aren’t all the same, they can be made in a variety of ways, with different ingredients and we can also burn them in different ways.

A tea light also called tealight or nightlight candle, the candle is encased in thin metal, glass or plastic cups so that the candle can liquefy completely while it lit. They are typically small in size, circular, and wider than their height and the best thing is that they are very cheap. Because of their small size and low level of light, multiple tealights are often used at hotels and parties.

The thing that makes a candle luxurious is its elegance, exclusivity, and craftsmanship but apart from all these specialties there are other factors that make luxury candles different from other candles is that it uses expensive alternative instead of paraffin wax. It can be bees wax, soy wax, coconut wax, or other high-end ingredients which make them burn slowly as compared to other basic candles. Its aura and fragrance last up to 40% more than other scented candles. Luxury candles are not only a powerful way to create different moods because of their scents but also an easy, instant way to glamorize your interior.

Floral Candles

Floral candles, as the name suggests, are inspired by flowers or natural vegetation. Mother Nature offers us an impressive variety of fragrant flowers that are used in the creation of different types of candles. They are appreciated for their colourful, beauty and amazing aromas. The central theme of a floral candle can be based on one flower or a combination of different flowers. Floral scented candles are in great demand across the globe.
