MARIGOLD MAROON JAFRI – most easy and fast growing
This bushy plant with around 20 to 30 species, have a long flowering period and the colors range from orange, yellow, gold, cream to apricot. Marigold Maroon Jafri is among the very popular flowers commonly used in religions, social functions, and also in making garlands. The leaves of this plant are edible, with the petals added to dishes as a garnish and in lieu of saffron. The extract of its leaves and flowers can also be used to treat cuts, boils and as a sunscreen.
- A marigold maroon jafri plant grows on average up to 2-3 feet. They are extremely beautiful and soothing to eyes.
- Germination from seeds is rapid and blooms appear within a few weeks of sowing.
- They thrive in moderately fertile, well-drained soil.
- Requires lots of sunshine and moderate watering.
- Avoid using fertilizers
- Attracts bees, butterflies and other pollinating creatures.
